Nexia Managing Director elected President of Belgian Institute
Nexia is pleased to announce that Gérard Delvaux, the managing
director of one of Nexia's Belgian firms, Delvaux, Fronville, Servais
et Associés, has been elected for a three year term as President
of the Belgian Institute of Chartered Accountants and Tax Consultants
(IEC - IAB).
Gérard Delvaux, 58, who is both a Belgian chartered accountant
and chartered auditor, was already a member of the Board and is
also Vice-President of the OECCBB, the main French speaking accountants'
professional association.
His appointment as President can be seen as acknowledgment by the
profession of the time he has invested in promoting and defending
the profession of the independent accountant and strengthening ties
with the Belgian Institute of Chartered Auditors (IRE-IBR).
