Nexia International is delighted to announce that its Japanese audit firm, Tokyo Hokuto & Co., has merged with Serizawa & Co.. Operating under the new name, Gyosei & Co., it is ranked 8th amongst Japanese audit firms.
Gyosei & Co. has 28 partners and 61staff and is in the process of recruiting more staff. By the end of the year the firm will have a total of 100 staff.
The firm has 28 new clients including six well known listed companies.
A party to celebrate the merger was held at the Hotel Ohkura, Tokyo, on October 4 th. Both the president of The Japanese Institute of Chartered Accountants and the president of JASDAQ were present.
