KroeseWevers strengthens its position with take-over of Deloitte Emmen
KroeseWevers Accountants and Tax Consultants, a member of Nexia Nederland, has reached an agreement with Deloitte regarding the take-over of the Deloitte branch in Emmen, the Netherlands. The sale includes the SME Accountancy & Consultancy practice - part of the client portfolio dealing with salary processing activities and the fiscal consultancy practice relating to these portfolios. As of 1 October those activities will be transferred to KroeseWevers and will be continued under the name KroeseWevers.
Mr. Johan Bossink, Chairman of the Board of KroeseWevers commented: ‘This take-over fits perfectly into our strategy, directed at strengthening our position along the northern Dutch and German border. Naturally there will be another name on the wall plaque, but apart from that nothing will change for the employees. There will be no question of lay-offs, so customers can continue to rely on their trusted contacts. Our new branch in Emmen also offers our clients the complete package of KroeseWevers services: Accountancy, taxation, salaries and advice on subsidies. We will add Corporate Finance as a new discipline.’
