Thomas Wong, partner at Nexia Charles Mar Fan & Co., has recently been appointed a member to the Council of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA).
HKICPA is the only statutory licensing body of accountants in Hong Kong, responsible for the training, development and regulation of the accountancy profession in Hong Kong.
The appointment is in recognition of Thomas’s contributions and efforts towards the works of the HKICPA for the past 10 years.
In addition, Thomas will also be involved in various committees of the HKICPA including Chair for the Professional Standards Monitoring Committee, Deputy Chair for Administration & Finance Committee and Continuing Professional Development Committee, Members of the Auditing and Assurance Standards Committee and Registration and Practising Committee.
Brenda Chan, also partner at Nexia Charles Mar Fan & Co., has also been recently appointed a member of the Taxation Committee of the HKICPA.
