Nexia appointment reinforces commitment to quality
Nexia International is pleased to announce the appointment
of Simon Riley as Technical and Quality Manager.
This newly-created position – based at the Nexia International
Secretariat in London – reflects the importance Nexia
attaches to ensuring the highest quality standards. Riley
also brings additional technical expertise on international
financial reporting and audit practice issues to Nexia.
Riley will focus, in particular, on managing Nexia’s
international Quality Control Review and Annual Confirmation
programmes – which are central to ensuring audit quality
throughout Nexia International. He will also provide a technical
resource to Nexia’s International Audit Committee, co-ordinate
Nexia’s Annual Audit Forum, as well as maintaining a
range of technical resources available to Nexia members via
its website.
Riley brings with him over 15 years experience in technical
roles with major accounting firms in London, Singapore and
Moscow, as well as financial reporting, auditing and ethics
standard setting roles in professional accounting bodies including
Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Institute
of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore and New Zealand
Institute of Chartered Accountants.
